Literary Arts

Literary Arts provides literature, art, history and culture lectures and awards as well as the Writers in the Schools (WITS) program. WITS brings Oregon writers into public schools for a semester residency and writing workshops. They also do many public art programs.

Intermedia Arts

Intermedia Arts is a multimedia arts center with visual, literary and dramatic arts as well as music and dance. The group of young artist incorporates activism through their artwork. They currently have an exhibit entitled "B-Girl Be: A Celebration of Women in Hip Hop" which displays the many different aspects of hip-hop culture where women are underrepresented.

Zoey's Room

Zoey's Room "encourages creativity through math, science, technology and engineering for girls ages 10-14." Participants write articles about cyber bullying and Internet safety as well as create graphic art. The Awakenings

The Awakenings Project is a grassroots movement, which has "[empowered] persons with mental illness through art since 1996." It is both "a therapeutic outlet for individuals with mental illnesses" and a place to build awareness and support of the accomplishments of those suffer from mental illness.
