Americorps is a "network of national service
programs" that rewards Americans with nearly
$5000 for school after completion of 10 months
of service to a community. There are tons of
programs you can join through Americorps, doing
everything from mentoring kids to building homes
to trail-building. With more than 2100 organizations
across the nation working with Americorps, you'll
be sure to find something that excites you.

Job Corps
Job Corps is for youth aged 16-24. With Job
Corps, you learn a trade, earn a high school
diploma or GED, get help with finding a job,
and earn a monthly allowance.

Jobs for Youth — Chicago
Jobs for Youth serves youth aged 17-24. Jobs
for Youth runs workshops for lower-income youth
that teaches basic computer skills, interviewing
skills, resume tips, and knowledge of business
decorum. Jobs for Youth then works with you
to help you find a job.
