BY REBECCA HISATOMI

I saw a condor in the sky
It was the biggest bird that I’d ever seen
It reflected the sparkling water in the river
It caused fish to laugh
birds to sing, horses to run.
It made grass look alive, like it could talk
And trees to dance with the wind
The wind to blow sunflowers away
And made the condor look for a point of view
Rabbits to hunt for their food
The sky to turn cloudy and noisy
•••And rain to feed the weeds that were growing as big as the trees
Birds to look away and watch out for each other
Wolves to stop singing and running as fast as horses
Bees to stop making buzzes.
•••For the immense hurricane,
•••it was a peaceful dream.
